What do you have? I have the skip hop duo and really, really dislike it. I don't like the bottle compartments, it feels so bulky but still doesn't have enough space, I have to take everything out to get one thing, and I wish the handles went over my shoulder.
I saw a Lily Jade that converts from a backpack to a crossbody to a shoulder bag but it's nearly 300 dollars which is a bit out of my price range.
Anyway, if you love your diaper bag, what is it?

I love the Lily Jade too but I would never spend that kinda money and don't know who would want to buy that expensive of a bag for me, haha!

I also like my BFF, but lately have been loving the skiphop Forma backpack. Not the most stylish thing, and I definitely never thought I'd carry a backpack, but it's SO convenient. Even DH loves it.
I used packing cubes to organize the inside. It's lifechanging.

I pack one with a change of clothes for both boys, one with snacks for DS1, and one with paci wipes, sanitizer, and a first aid kit. It makes it easy to change bags too.

I have a lily jade and love it, if helps at all they often have "outlet" bags that are a little cheaper. Have you looked into Fawn Design Bags? I just got that one and it has messenger and backpack straps.

@simplyfelicity: I wear my duo cross body! Have you tried it?
I also tend to use an Eddie Bauer hiking daypack more than a diaper bag these days. It is easier to wear for long periods and chase the kids, and it has enough space for what I need.

@simplyfelicity: I have the Madeline and used it for over a year everyday as a purse/work bag. When i needed to use it as a diaper bag i just threw in my diaper clutch(small bag with diaper, wipes) and sippy cup. The only reason i stopped using it recently was because I got a Fawn Design bag and wanted to give it a shot. Lily Jade is definitely a better quality bag though, my only complaint is that the straps are thin so when wearing it as a backpack, it can hurt your shoulders after awhile if the bag is full.

@simplyfelicity: I love my Lily Jade. They sell the organizer separately. So if you have bag you already love, you can just buy the LJ insert to convert your existing bag to a diaper bag.

@simplyfelicity: this is what I took to fly solo with both kids and what I use for most outings these days:
I checked and they don't have this one anymore but it was about $50 and was marketed as like a day pack. I used it as our hiking bag before LO2 was born so I know we will keep using it after we are done with diapers. It is not as cute as some of the diaper bags but it is working well for us.

Yeah, I hate mine, too. At the moment, I'm using my purse/daybag (Osprey Flapjill, which I love, just not big enough) until I can get a better option. I need a backpack and love the idea of crossbody as well.

@simplyfelicity: Most people I know use duffle bags, think like gym bags. They work great! Lots of space, different compartments, can fit an organizer inside if you want, wipes out easily and is fairly inexpensive depending on the one you get. That's probably what we'll end up using as well.

@MamaCate: Love the idea of using a backpack as well! I'm just nervous about getting annoyed with it. As in searching for one thing and having to take everything out to get it. Do you find that that's an issue?

@WinterBee: not really. There are two main pockets and the big one has a divider in the back that looks like it could fit a laptop. I keep diapers, changing stuff and extra clothes there. Then the little pocket has some nice things like a little mesh pocket and a key clip so I keep my Chapstick there and keys on the clip. I occasionally have to dig but not often and I think that is inevitable if you have a lot of stuff.

Petunia Picklebottom Boxy Backpack.
I've had this for about nine months so far (I originally had a Skip Hop that was just ok) and it's been so well-used. I can't recommend it enough. A little pricey but I couldn't ask for anything more from a diaper bag!

I use a Ju Ju Be Right Back as my backpack diaper bag. When I don't need much for both kids, I use a Ju Ju Be Light.
