Third time I've used them and their prices cannot be beat if you need to pay for fertility meds out-of-pocket.... aka, your insurance doesn't cover IF meds.
Notes
-They are a fertility discount program, not a fertility pharmacy.
-They offer package plans so you'll have to order at least two kinds of medications. Sucks if you only need one medication, you'll have to use someone else. (ETA: They sell baby aspirin, which I needed for my IVF cycle. You could ask your RE a RX for that and use that as your second medication. Aspirin is cheap so I'm sure it won't add much to your order.)
-They will give you a package quote price but they are unable to disclose the amount of each medication. You can kind of figure it out if you know approx. how much they usually cost.
-I don't think they take insurance so this is for out-of-pocket users.
-Since they are a discount company and not a pharmacy, they couldn't take my RX that had refills. So I just had to ask my RE to send a new RX with the two items I needed to refill. Considering how much I saved (below), I don't mind. Maybe my RE was a little annoyed, but they are always faxing RXs so it probably wasn't that big a problem.
-They have a credit card price and cash price. But cash price you had to pay by ACH (which my bank doesn't offer) or you can mail them a check (which takes time, if you have it).
-Oh, they did add sharps container, alcohol swabs to my order for no charge. Plus syringes, but I think that was on my RX.
Steps: Once you call them and get your price quote, you will have your RE send them your RX. Then a nurse will call you and discuss your RX with you. They will send you an email with a more accurate quote and you make a payment online (credit card, ACH or mail them a check). Once they get payment, they will send the order to Walgreens Specialty and then Walgreens will call to confirm shipment date and ship you your meds.
My experience:
For my retrieval, I got a list of drugs to get (menipur, follistim, ganirelix, Ovridrel).
I got quotes for everything except the ganirelix.
I called about 10 different fertility pharmacies. Got quotes between $4-6k. WinFertility quote.... $3,600. Not bad considering I almost passed out when the first pharmacy quoted me at close to $6000! Eeek!!
Second time, I need PIO(4 bottles), delestrogen, azithromycin, medrol, estrace. I can't remember if I got quotes from other pharmacies but my quote price was $300. I think I just paid it because I was preparing myself for another $2,000 bill. I was so glad to see it under $1000. Oh, they didn't have delestrogen so I had to use another pharmacy for that.
Third time, I need PIO but since I need to get a second medication to get a quote, I got a supply of estrace. I needed to order more at the end of this month, anyway, so it was fine. Price quote! $30! Yup, only $30. I was going to ask them if they left off an 0 in the price. If you look around at other pharmacies, PIO is listed on the fertility websites for $35-40 a bottle. I'm getting 4 bottles of PIO and 60 pills of estrace for $30!!! Amazing!! (Oh, this is for generic PIO, since I don't seem to have any allergic reactions to it, so far.)
Definitely give them a call if you need fertility meds.
ETA: I am not getting anything for promoting them, nor do they know I'm promoting them. I'm just that happy that their prices are so good.
