Interested in this! We are in our first month of NTNP for #2. We got pregnant 1st cycle last time but I was charting so we'll see what happens this time!

we only ntnp a couple of months before my type a ocd personality took over. but good thing it did, because i was WAY off my O day by over a week, and we clearly avoided those weeks during ntnp

Same as @catomd00. When we first started taking the kids thing seriously, DH was working 70+ hour weeks, so I only managed to convince him once. I absolutely didn't expect to get pregnant from that.

Hmm.... Im thinking NTNP isn't for us, then, until we are completely ready as opposed to "it wouldn't be the end of the world but Id rather wait a bit longer"!!! So many first months!!

If you have sex regularly, you have a 20% chance every month, so.....

I voted twice
LO#1 : 2 cycles NTNP
LO#2 : 4 cycles NTNP then gave up and went into actively trying and conceived 5 cycles after that.
My cycles aren't a month long... they are about 32+ days long. So it's easier for me to say how many cycles.

We conceived twins on the third cycle post getting my period back. I'm not sure we had sex even around my fertile time in other months, but after our struggle the first time around, it was quite a surprise.
The month we got pregnant we had only had sex one other time that month and I knew generally where we were in my cycle so I said to DH, we should have sex today if we want to have any chance at a baby this month (more jokingly than anything) and it worked.

@Cherrybee: lol it's probably only because we weren't supposed to be trying! best mistake DH ever made!

I think it is worth remembering that the ' how ling it takes a normal couple to conceive' stats given by doctors are actually based on ntnp style bd schedules.

I voted one month but it was just one time that happened to be lucky. We were not going to start trying for a few more months but went away for a long weekend and the rest is history!

We were ntnp for a year pp. We were thinking we might want our kids two years apart so I didn't want to get an iud, just to have it taken out in less than a year and I was having supply issues on the mini-pill. I was nursing though and didn't get my period back until around a year pp.
