Yup. We have the Honda CRV. We didn't want it at first but that was one of the reasons we went with it..so much included standard. I thought it would take awhile to get used to but actually it's pretty easy.

We have a crossover with no backup camera.
I wouldn't mind having one, but I worry about relying on 100%. I would make sure to always use it as an additional means to check things behind me, not my sole way of looking.

Yes and I love it! I don't rely on it solely, but it sure makes backing out of parking spaces much easier.

@googly-eyes: I am loving that in the newer CRVs they are standard! In the past, I did not like what the CRV looks like but that one Honda Civic thread made me realize that might miss having a Honda if I got another car.

We don't have one. It would be nice.... but so far there have been no accidents (knock on wood).

we don't have one, but I don't feel like it's been a problem so far. we have an odyssey.

No we don't have one for either my SUV or my husband's truck. It has never been an issue for us.

We have it in our RX450h (as well as our other car). I didn't go out looking for it, but it's really helpful because it can sort of see around corners, so I can actually see better if cars are approaching in a parking lot. The other day I was walking in a parking lot and almost got hit by a woman who definitely would not have hit me if she'd had a backup camera!

We just bought an SUV Friday, and this was one of the must haves.
So far I love it.

Yes, we've had one in our past two SUVs and I absolutely love it! It makes parallel parking and backing into a spot so easy.

@Pepper: Yes! This! In combination with my side mirrors that tilt down when I'm in Reverse, parallel parking in the city is so simple!

i wish!! i have a pacifica & it the THE WORST to see out the back of! i actually bought an after market dash mounted one that i need to have installed because it's so bad.

We did in our crossover SUV but we sold that and got a new truck, which doesn't have one. It's nice to have an extra set of "eyes" to help but in the truck, I'm very cautious. I walk around the vehicle before getting in to make sure nothing is in the way but it still makes me nervous. Especially backing up at DS's preschool, some of the children dart into the parking lot so fast.

Yup, love, love, love our backup camera!! Ditto @HeatherLovesKenny on backing up at DD's preschool where there are lots of kids are around... It really helps with my piece of mind then.

I love my backup camera! It makes backing in/out of parking spots so much easier since I can see exactly how close I am to the car behind me.

We just bought a Honda CRV and ours has one - I think it's fabulous. I don't rely on mine alone, I still use my mirrors and do my other checks, but it's definitely worth it for peace of mind. Our townhouse comes off a shared courtyard so it definitely is better for our neighbourhood kids that I can see where they are!

We have the camera and the sensor, and I really really love them! The sensor is especially useful because we park our car in our apartment building's garage and some of the turns/ramps are pretty tight.

My Nissan Rogue has a backup camera and I love it. I dont ever want a car without one again!

Yes, in our CR-V. I get annoyed because I'm usually plugging in the GPS destination when Wagon Sr. puts the car in reverse, and the camera takes over the GPS screen. Haha.
When I'm driving I do not rely on it at all. I don't trust it! If I'm parking or pulling out of a spot and I have to get super close to another car I'll use it then. But otherwise I don't even look at it.

We have a sequoia and it doesn't have a backup camera. We're okay without it, would it be nice to have? Sure, but I don't think it's necessary.

I have a small SUV and can see perfectly backing up with the big back window, no camera needed--it's actually a lot harder to see when backing up in our small car! If we had a huge vehicle, I could see the appeal of a camera.

we have a backup sensor for our minivan. not a must have, but it's definitely nice to have with a big car.

I don't have one for my SUV (Toyota 4Runner, so good sized SUV); I'm not sure if I would like one or not. I personally think SUVs are way easier to parallel park than cars, and as long as I follow the "parallel parking rules", I always park it perfectly, even in tight squeezes/city sized spaces (my parallel parking skillz are one thing I am really proud of!! haha)

We don't have one, and our old SUV didn't have one either. I've used them in rental cars, but mainly they get on my nerves. I won't go out specifically looking for one in our second car, but if it comes with it I won't rely on it. Our current car (Nissan Versa) doesn't have one, but it's so small that it would be hard to miss something.
