I plan on switching at 24 months. I'm not too worried. The center is allowing us to do an easy transition, giving her half days there on two Friday's before her transition. I have taken her in a couple of times so far and she had no problems running right into the room to play.

I did!

I couldn't afford 2 kids at the DCP we were using so we switched. I moved DS 1st - he was almost 3.5 - to get him acclimated to the new school before his sister started.

He did amazingly well!! I have to credit his teacher though who was super awesome with him! He made friends quickly too!

I then started DD at the school when she was 15 months (4 months after my DS started)

It has been a great school for us!

We moved and switched LO's daycare at 20 months. I was shocked at how well it went. There were tears the first day at drop off, but she stopped crying with in 2 minutes (we watched through the door). She was a little clingy at drop off the first week, but otherwise no issues at all. I was mentally prepared for a few weeks of hard drop offs, but it was such a non issue for her.

I think she will be fine! We switched a few months after her baby sis was born and she was adjusted within a few days.

So glad to hear all the good responses. I am going through this now too, our daycare is at my work and I am looking for a new job, the only thing holding me back is the thought of transitioning my daughter (17 months).
