If you used OPK's how many cycles did it take you to get pregnant?

First cycle TTC for LO 3 but I charted as BCP and used opks for a few months before..I wanted to see patterns and learn fertility signs.

I always O two days after my smiley on my OPK. The first five months using OPKs we DTD every day during the fertile week with no results. The sixth we DTD the day of my smiley then skipped a day, and DTD on O day. We got our BFP a few days ago from that cycle. We also added in preseed that cycle. TBD if this is a viable pregnancy as I don't have a confirmation appt until 8 weeks. Good luck!

Of the three times I used opk's, one, two, one. DTD leading up to and day of, the last one we DTD *only* the day of. (We planned to wait another month but weren't set on it, and DH decided not to pull out on that day, not knowing I had a positive opk.) Also, I'm sure we continued to DTD after each time, but not for TTC purposes.

Ha! Although I say it took us a bunch of cycles to get pregnant we didn't do a lot of BD when it would count. In reality it took us one cycle to use the OPK & BD to get a positive test.

It took us 4 cycles to get pregnant but we got pregnant the first cycle I incorporated OPKs (I had just been charting/temping before that).
We DTD before and the day of my positive OPK.

Interesting poll! Thanks for posting it. I get to start TTC soon! The wait is killing me. I just need to wait a couple more weeks. I didn't plan on using OPKs but work hasn't been great and has really made me want to just have a baby and go on mat leave. So I caved and bought some OPKs. I'm hoping that it'll only take us one cycle, but I realize that's probably not likely.

I was like NTNP/kinda TTC for 2 cycles, then 3rd cycles I did OPKs and I got pregnant!

I used OPKs to just figure out what my norms were before we started TTC. We randomly decided to pull the goalie on the third month but did not time DTD (only hit O-4). Ended up pregnant that month.

1 cycle (current pregnancy)However, I should add that I have weird cycles so I was using OPKs even before we started actively trying so that I could get a better idea of things. For example, for this pregnancy, I knew we would start trying in August, so I started using OPKs back in June. I did the same thing a few years ago when we were trying for LO. It helped me feel more prepared.

Six cycles for first pregnancy (m/c)
Three more cycles for DD (so, 9 total)We started out BD 4-5 days in a row, tried to hit -2, -1, O, and O+1. Later on we switched to trying to hit every other day during the fertile window.

You need an option for more than six cycles.
I think I'm at 12 and counting.
We BD EOD staring at cd10, and always make sure to hit day of positive OPK, O day, and o+1

I used OPKs to confirm that I was ovulating, not to necessarily plan intercourse. We DTD every other day. I got pregnant the fourth month we were TTC.

i voted 4 because i used OPK's 4 times, but we were trying for 6 cycles (the first cycle i didn't use OPK, and the 5th i didn't because we were on vacation).

Baby 1: 6ish cycles of using OPKs and dtd day of and after.
Baby 2; only 2 or 3 OPKs, dtd day of solid smiley & 2 days after which resulted in this pregnancy!

@Ajsmommy: I ended up doing like 8 cycles. But I never believed the OPK kits for me. I ended up trusting the lab blood draws more.
