Where do you find shoes to fit him/her? DS has chunky little feet and the only shoes that fit him are a pair of hand-me-down crib shoes with elastic around the opening. Sigh. Is he resigned to wearibg baby crocs forever?

My LO has fat feet and I love See Kai Run's Smaller line and the wide sized shoes at Stride Rite.

I like Umi shoes. They run wide, or so the Nordstrom salesclerk told me. Maybe worth a try?

@Honeybee: NO SHOES FIT!!!
ETA: Because the fat on his feet is tall (high, on the top of the forefoot) no shoes have enough room. Socks or barefoot for my non walking 9 month old.

@honeybear: Worth a try!
@pastemoo: Ha! I knew I couldn't be the only one with a baby who doesn't fit any shoes! ETA: That's how my DS's feet are too, fat vertically. He's walking now, so he really needs shoes but all that fit are his leather crib shoes with the elastic around the opening (so they open wide).

@Honeybee: We used to only wear Clarks on DS because they were the only one that fit his chunky feet and they have extra wide widths. Now that he is a toddler we only wear Tsukihoshi on him since his feet also sweat a lot and these are machine washable. They also have a really wide opening so super easy to get feet in and out! We get him fitted by a supplier and they always fit him a half size bigger than what he measures because of his foot chunk. The other brands mentioned above Necer worked for us either

My LO has fat feet. We have some pedi-ped shoes that fit great! They are a little bit wider and so easy to put on.

@Honeybee: @pastemoo: Have you guys tried stride rite in wide sizes? The stride rite store recommended I get DS the wide sizing since he has a very high arch. Pedipeds grip n go also work for us since they have a wide opening and adjustable Velcro .
@anbanan15: I didn't know Clark's made toddler shoes? Where do you buy yours?

@T-Mom: At the Clarks store! They have crib shoes, early walkers, walker shoes and kids shoes as well. I loved the all leather ones for his sweaty feet and the wide range of widths.

We are still on the hunt. Pedi-ped grip n gos did not work for us. Their newest styles are actually a little more narrow. But, the real issue for us is that the tongue and Velcro rub against his kankles and actually cut into his skin. Sadly, I didn't figure that out until after he wore them to the park...

My boys have super fat feet and i have found that some of the target sneakers with velcro fit well. I ate spending money on shoes for them since they outgrow them so fast.

Lala's crocs? (she still wears that pair btw and they fit your son in length perfectly)! He is going to be so tall!

@Mrs. Jacks: I think I'm going to get him Crocs this summer and hope his feet thin a little by fall/winter. What size were those, btw? M and H are both going to be tall! I can't believe she's already in 18 month clothing!

@Honeybee: right now I'm trapped beneath a sleeping baby arm, but I'll check when I go downstairs. I'm thinking 4?

@Mrs. Jacks: hahaha! I really thought DD was going to sleep in this morning (she was totally wiped last night!) But she was up right after 6.

@Honeybee: oh boy! Lala is still asleep, but M was up with the sun. ( it's ok to hijack a thread when it's your thread, right?

@Mrs. Jacks: I give us permission! DS was also up bright and early, but now he's having an early morning meltdown, and I don't think we're going to make it to church after all!

@Honeybee: aww don't like! I feel like morning nap is a good thing, why do they insist on dropping it?!
Meanwhile, Lala is still asleep (and I'm still trapped!)
