My office is in a hallway with our executive director, HR superintendent and finance superintendent, so I always stay until the end of the day. Most of our department is in the other hallway with our boss, so they always leave early!

I could sort of leave work whenever I wanted but there were definitely a few partners who - when they left early - I would leave early because I knew I wouldn't be bugged by them if I left!

I always felt nervous/guilty just at the thought even though others do. I do dip out about 5-10 minutes early on those days. Unless my boss says leave, then I'm like okay!! haha!

No becuase I hae a coworker who is a clockkeeper If I do I usually skip lunch and say I'm heading ot an hour early but never without makign up my time

Only if I need to. Never 'just because'. The culture here is pretty laid back about having flexibile schedules, but people would notice if someone was always leaving early when the boss was out and it would ultimately just look bad.
