Do you wipe/wash it before giving it back?
A toy I usually give back. Olive doesn't take pacis. A utenstil I will wipe with a napkin and give it back to her. We clean our floors often with a steam mop and vinegar... I'm sure they're pretty clean. 
What do you do?

No paci for us either...and she doesn't feed herself yet but if she drops her toy i just give it back to her whether we're at home or if we are out. I wouldn't do it if the floor looked dirty but I figure some germs are ok to develop her immune system

I'm really bad about cleaning the paci. If I'm near the sink or have a wet wipe on hand I'll clean it. Otherwise I just wipe it off really well on my shirt and give it back.

No paci, but if we're at home i'll just give things back to her without wiping. We don't wear shoes in the house and I steam the floors with hot water 1-2x a week.

Yeah, I always just give them back. Um, and usually when we're not at home. And my kids hardly ever get sick!

Eh, as long as it looks marginally clean we just give it back, witha wipe or a few puffs of breath to make sure there isn't anything stuck to it

Give it back...I might wipe it down or rinse it under water if I feel like it but meh, whatever.

Depends if it fell somewhere that the dog likes to be. If its full of dog hair, which it usually is, I wash it off.

Usually I wipe it off and give it back. For a paci, when it's dirty or went in my nieces mouth (and she's sick) I rinse it... but majority of the time I'm lazy, or I don't have water near.

99% of the time we just give it back to him. Unless it looks dirty, or I know the floor/ground is dirty, I don't bother washing.

If we're at home, I just give it back. If we're out somewhere, I wipe it off. Restaurant floors are nasty!

When we're out, I'll ask for a clean utensil or for the younger one, I always have a spare. With toys, most of the time I'll wipe. At home I just give back for both.
