If your LO was a late teether, when did he/she actually get teeth? Lo got his first two teeth (bottom middle) at 9 months, and since then, nothing! He's almost 1 and our pedi was surprised he hasn't gotten his top teeth yet. Just wondering when other late teethers sprouted their chompers?

@hilsy85: my LO wasn't a late teether but I was! I didn't have ANY teeth at my one year appointment. I ended up having baby teeth pulled when I was FOURTEEN years old!

My daughter will be 1 year old on Sunday and she has no teeth.

N has cut 4 on the bottom and we are just now seeing a single top tooth maybe... who knows. He got his first two at about 8.5/9 months......

A got her first tooth at 10.5 months and the second quickly followed (bottom) now at over 13 months she JUST got her top right one, no left one yet.

my lo wasn't a late teether, he got his first two teeth just shy of 5 months. but he didn't get any more until he was 12.5 months! now they're slowly coming in, in a very strange order, too.
i bet your little guy will sprout some in the next few months!

I'm not sure what's considered late?
T got his first at 8 months and then 1 ever few weeks or so until age 11 months. He had 8 from 11-15 months, then popped one molar, then the other two when he was 16 months. Still waiting on one molar, upper and lower canines, and 2 year molars at almost 17 months.

@hilsy85: We are exactly the same! She cut the two front bottom in/around 9m, and nothing (and no real teething!) since! Will be interesting to see when they pop!

@hilsy85: She managed to open a packet of coffee mate with her gums the other day so I'm not worried about cake hahaha. She has gums of steel.

First two teeth right before his 1st birthday. The next two teeth around 14 months. The next ones after that around 16 months... He is now almost three and just starting to get his 2-year molars. He has been exceedingly slow. Luckily, we never had to deal with teething issues, the teeth always just seem to appear with no symptoms.

@hilsy85: J is so similar - he got his first tooth (bottom) at 10.5 months, and just got his second bottom tooth over the weekend. Still waiting on his top ones, though I can see them, they're very close!

@hilsy85: we are just sprouting one top tooth now! My DH didn't get any until a year; I guess his pedi said it meant they're be stronger that way? He has only had one cavity!

@winniebee: not sure on the actual definition, the pedi just said he could now be considered a "late" teether!
@lamariniere: that is lucky! We definitely had fussiness with his 2 teeth...

@hilsy85: I'm kind of happy it's taking this long... teething is the pits, and it's been great for nursing that he doesn't have a full set of teeth he can bite me with!

J is in the same boat!! Just bottom middle 2!! We think some more may be coming though based on his fussiness the last couple days, but who knows!

@hilsy85: My LO sprouted her first tooth at 12.5 months. She's 13 months now, and no signs of any other teeth yet. Fwiw, it's a bottom tooth.
