was your LO#2 harder? same? easier?
DS has been very, very easy on us since the infant days. He sttn early on and we've been lucky in all the milestones and transitions not being really hard on us as new parents.
We are both praying that #2 is not too far off from his brother, but bracing ourselves that we'll be paying our dues.

LO1 was pretty easy - easier than a lot of our friends' kiddos. LO2 is like a dream! I never could have imagined that we could have a baby this easy!

Logan's only 3 months, but so far he's just as easy (if not easier) than his brother!

LO#1 was fussy, high needs, colic by every definition of the word.
#2 is an angel in comparison. 
But her sleep isn't great either. But she is such a chill baby. Not sure if that's her temperament or just a result of being the second child.

DD was easy, DS was easier til 22ish months.
They're both good kids, even though one likes to keep me on my toes

@mrsjyw: I swear we live the same life, lol. I'm TERRIFIED of "paying our dues"!!! DS1 was SO easy, relaxed, STTN by 5-6 weeks old. Even at 2, other than not wanting to eat, hes fairly easy. I'm so scared that DS2 is going to be a nightmare lol

@ValentineMommy: I had the same fear. Xander was so easy as a baby (and is still pretty easy) and was sleeping really well (7+ hours) before I went back to work at 12 weeks, that I was scared #2 would be a nightmare. But so far, he's been just as easy (and in some ways easier because I know what I'm doing)!

Lo2 was easier and lo1 was an easy baby! Both sttn early and were generally calm most of the time. Lo1 isn't as easy of a toddler but hopefully lo2 stays the same!!

LO1 was the world's easiest baby! STTN 12 hrs straight by 12 weeks, despite being EBF, super chilled happy baby, not demanding of attention, and just the easiest baby. I never understood why people said the newborn days were so hard as they just weren't for us. Even now, at 2.5 yrs old, LO1 is still the easiest toddler and we have none of the issues so many other people seem to talk about with toddlers. I secretly think she is really a unicorn
LO2 on the other hand, has been a fairly easy baby overall, but definitely not as easy as LO1. She isn't as independent, a bit more demanding of attention, and she has a temper on her! Still a pretty good sleeper, not quite as good as DD1, but compared to what seems to be the norm, I definitely can't complain. She's 13 months now and I can already see that she will be the toddler who throws tantrums and is a bit of a handful - which is the complete opposite of LO1. I'm so unprepared for this!

Both of mine were relatively "easy". My first was a dream. LO2 was a dream newborn, but her overall babyhood was a bit harder. Maybe because I have a toddler running around demanding my attention? She still has been a great sleeper/eater so I can't complain at all! But when she's awake, she's just fussier/higher maintenance than my son was. All in all though, I had 2 EASY babies.

I think it depends what you mean by easy. I would consider both of mine easy compared to other babies but in different ways
DS1 didn't and still doesn't require a lot of sleep. But he was an easygoing baby who settled easily.
DS2 slept more but as he has gotten older, he is clingier so that's more difficult. But overall, I think he's a good baby too.

Dd1 was very easy and dd2 is too. The sleep is a little bit worse but still not bad overall.

#2 is so much harder. So colicky and will just cry for hours. Not sure where I went wrong haha.

i don't think charlie was hard, probably pretty easy overall, but it was just hard for me as a ftm.
overall olive was easier though because she had a more laid back/independent personality. she was born that way.

This is my fear too. LO wasn't exactly an easy baby, but he definitely wasn't colicky and slept well enough! I'm terrified that #2 could be colicky and not a good sleeper!

I didn't realize that DD1 was "easy" until I had another LO. We struggled a LOT with her sleep (she didn't sttn until 2), it took hours to get her to sleep, and she didn't like to be put down. I remember the first 6 weeks, she basically just slept on me/my boob.
But DD2 made all that seem like a walk in the park. Colic is no joke. Even now at 19 months, she's pretty intense.
Hoping #3 Is a calm and peaceful angel who loves sleep!

LO #1 was colicky at 6 weeks on and was a needy, tough baby. So far, LO #2 has been the opposite, but he's only 3.5 weeks. We're waiting for the other shoe to drop and for him to be colicky. It's a huge fear of both of ours.

Easy??? what's an easy baby??? haha
Ok, all joking aside... I didn't have an easy baby first (AT ALL), BUT, my 2nd one is easier than the first... but she came with her own set of issues (colic + reflux) that made things a little challenging.
I honestly thing that even if you do have a more difficult baby #2, it still won't be that bad because you already know what to expect from being a parent. Does that make sense?

Neither of mine were easy, both are high-needs and were colicky sleep-haters. But, baby 2 was slightly easier for me, because I'd done it before. However dealing with 2 high-needs kids at once was overall harder
