So my son was 90th percentile for weight but only 40th for height at his 2 yr appt. Our new pediatrician (moved to a new town 6 mo ago) seemed concerned. He told me to put him on skim milk and limit carby snacks like crackers.

Has anyone else been told to put their kid on skim milk? It doesn't deally make sense to me, esp since he only drinks 4-8 oz of milk per day, although the doctor didn't bother to ask about his intake. I'd rather give him limited whole milk then unlimited amounts of skim milk. I already do limit crackers and such and make sure he gets outside/get physical activity everyday. But now I'm worried about his health
