Does your toddler call other LOs babies? I was picking up B from daycare the other day and a 2 year old came up to B and started yelling "baby" and pointing to B. I think it's hilarious since she's not much older than B. Then a slightly older child asked his dad, "how can that baby walk?" It's so funny listening to what kids say.

No yet, my LO doesnt talk yet, but we went to Ikea and while we were in the elevator a toddler pointed at my LO and another kid in the elevator and said "babies" over an over. everyone laughed because he was only slightly older than them

Baby is LO's newest word, and she definitely recognizes babies in books, in pictures, etc. She hasn't pointed out a real baby yet.

LO is almost 15 months and every child under 5 is a baby. She gets excited and says it over and over and reaches out for them.

She only calls babies baby. She has a baby cousin that we call a baby often so I think she compares to her.

My son usually calls anyone smaller than him baby. However, he also calls some children little girl or little boy and sometimes big girl or big boy. He's getting the hang of it.

Yes! She started doing this at 16-months or so... and she was calling kids bigger, older, and taller than her babies too! It was cute.

He hasn't yet, but all the other kids call him baby haha!

Yep! My LO is 15 months and any small child is a "baby" to him.

For awhile everyone who wasn't an adult was a baby. but now she's got the hang of big girl/little boy, etc....though she's way off on the gender sometimes, she's usually able to pin down if someone is a little baby, a baby, little kid, or big kid.

My 15 month old just started doing this this week. He also sees pictures of himself and says "baby." It's so cute.

My 2 year old calls other LO's "kid". He calls actual babies "baby".

Yes! He is 17 months and any young child is a baby, even if they are much older than he is. He and his 20 month old cousin call each other baby all the time it's adorable.

Yes, LO loves to point out babies, which are pretty much any other LOs that are being carried or in a stroller, even if they are older or bigger.

DD likes to call babies and children in diapers babies (her cousin is 3 months older than her and is not potty trained. She calls him baby N,I asked her why and she said because he wears a diaper LOL) Other kids are little boy or little girl LOL

Yep, anyone smaller than him, including toddlers (and he's on the bigger side for his age) is a "be-beh."
