Nope, not the second time around- they broke it for me shortly before pushing.

Yes, but only partially. They had to break the remainder at the hospital.

I know it broke for my mom first with both me and my brother. Since it broke with my son, I'm nervous about when it's going to happen this time!

1st-- water broke (trickle, waited a few hours to get checked), no contractions, induced
2nd-- contractions, water broke (big pop and splash LOL) naturally while in labor at hospital

Trickle with #1, and then a tiiiiiny pop with #2 followed by a giant wave of stuff that came out with her!

I'm feeling totally irrationally anxious about this! With LO1 I heard the pop half asleep but the gush came when I was safely in the bathroom on the tile floor. I keep having these thoughts that it will happen while I'm out and I'll be really embarrassed or I'll ruin the couch or get it on the new rugs. So silly!

Nope! It gushed the first time early in the morning. The second time the midwife broke it around 7cm!

Nope. #1 was PROM at 32 weeks. went into labor on my own at 39 weeks with #2 but my water never broke on it's own. #3 was an elective c section and I never went into labor by 39w.

Yes! Pop/gush with both fairly early on in the labor process. Much faster with #2 though, baby showed up 90 minutes after my water broke (vs 8-ish hours with #1).
