Do you take pregnancy tests for fun?/just in case?
We're definitely not TTC right now, and I have a Mirena so the chances that I would be pregnant are tiny but I take a test about once a month anyway. Usually for a reason...like today, when I was feeling nauseous, lol. And the whole 5 minutes I was thinking "Shit, what if it's positive? What do I WANT it to be?" (Because as much as I may want a second baby now's not the time/DH is not on board...)
DH knows I do it, and he thinks I'm nuts, lol.

ha. I def don't. I have thought I was pregnant twice since having J but both times I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt I DID NOT want to be pregnant and thankfully both times were negatives.

I am TTC, but this is totally me otherwise. Not once a month, but sometimes even when the chance was pretty much 0%.

No because it terrifies me that it might be positive! Even though that would be pretty impossible...but the thought of even aking a test freaks me out!

I used to do that years and years ago before we were married, when I was using the Nuvaring. It seemed a little insane at the time, but that was how I discovered our first m/c.

I definitely used to sometimes! But because I wanted it to be positive, even when the timing wouldn't be great. Any time I was the littlest bit late I'd start thinking I should take a test. ^_^ Now I'm driving myself nuts wanting to test sooner than I should. (Just had a mc, so still showing faintly positive. Need to wait to test till I'd at least be strongly positive if I get preg right away.) I also took a zillion once I got preg before. It's just fun for me!

Lol nope. Don't even have any in the house. I've only ever poas twice when younger, and deathly afraid of being pregnant. Now that we're gearing up to ttc I might want to buy some for happily poas!

Just once, when I was feeling very queasy and I had to go with A for an x-ray and had to definitely not be pregnant in able to go in the room with her. It was fun actually, I never took a test when I was actually pregnant (clinic did it for me, blood test) so it was the first time I'd done one in years!

Nope. I've only ever taken one pregnancy test ever -- the one when I was several days late while we were TTC. That one was a positive for my baby girl!

Yep. I have a stack of dollar store tests so that I don't waste real money on paranoia peeing.

I do all the time because I'm paranoid. We only use condoms as BC and even though we've never had a slip-up I'm always convinced I'm pregnant. It doesn't help that I have long, irregular cycles and never know when AF is actually "late." It wouldn't be great timing for me to get pregnant right now, but it wouldn't be the worst thing, either.

I did twice. It was negative once...the second time it was positive. And we were definitely not trying either time I tested
