I got horrible stretch marks during pregnancy. Like, I had them on my stomach, beneath my stomach, on my hips, everywhere in my midsection. I was so worried about how they were going to look after LO was here. My stomach isn't as fit as I'd like it to be yet and the angle of the pregnant picture isn't fantastic (it was the best I could do with how big I was) but it's a good illustration of just how much my stretch marks have faded.
The first picture is when I was 36 weeks pregnant. I went to 40 weeks, 4 days, so I got quite a bit more but I didn't feel like taking another picture. I also never took a picture right after she was born because it was a mess. The other picture is today, at almost 7 months postpartum. It's not perfect but all I've really done is continue to moisturize my stomach really well. The area beneath my stomach still has some pretty bad marks but it's an area that most people won't see anyway since it's covered, even if I wore a bikini.
I'm just hoping these pictures will help those of you who got as many stretch marks as I did and are pregnant or have just given birth and think that your stomach will be forever almost solid purple.
I'm hoping they'll look even better with exercise and a bit more time. At some point, I may also look into Mederma since it helped a lot with the scar I have on my forehead.
