I like some of the Carters sleepers that are footless. But I, too, would like inexpensive, two piece, cotton jammies with long sleeves for my eight month old. For now we're just doing long sleeve white onesies and hand me down sweats from her brother.

I prefer two piece PJs and I prefer long sleeves too (same thing as you, so their arms will be warm in a sleep sack).

We usually buy Gap PJs when they have their 50% off codes (or 40-50% off clearance!) or we buy them second hand. Old Navy has good PJs too, not as good quality... but it might not matter since they grow out of them so fast at this age!

I've pre bought jams at Old Navy & Gymboree I can't speak to the quality but they sell them there.

If it's just for sleeping and he's already in a fleece sleep sack, what about just putting him in a long sleeve onesie and sleep sack this spring?

Walmart (at least here in Canada) has a surprising good selection of two piece pyjamas at decent quality.

Old Navy and Gap have small 2 piece pj's. They are in little bags by the socks. They have combos of shorts and short sleeved shirts, pants and short sleeved shirts, and pants and long sleeved shirts. My 6 month old fit the 12 month size. I far prefer 2 piece pjs. With my second, I had her in them really early.

this is an interesting thread! somehow I thought zip sleepers were the bees knees but apparently there is something better! I'm intrigued that two piece pajamas are easier! I love leveret (on amazon). inexpensive and they make 2 piece PJs. They hold up pretty well. Looks like I will be trying out 2 piece PJs!

I love pjs from the Children's Place, though I'm still a fan of one pieces.

The main reason I like two piece jammies is it's a lot easier for crawling and standing. I find with sleepers, the get their knees caught up in the legs and it's just too awkward.

@macintosh: yeah I have been really happy with them. Although I find they run a bit small/short. But they wash and wear so well! I give them as gifts quite often
