It's been almost 5 months since we moved to Asia and this is the second time I've been sick since and I was barely recovered from my last "cold" or whatever it was! My husband probably got me sick. He's never gotten me sick, ever, when we lived in a huge house with an eastern king size bed (the wider kind); but now that we're in an apartment in a queen size bed and in a city with a bazillion people (you know what I mean) I guess it's more likely that I'll catch whatever he catches since we live in such close quarters. Blech. I've been coughing for three weeks now and I'm losing my voice for the second time in a month. Yay me! I can't wait until we pass the 6 month mark and can start enjoying some healthy beings in this house and can comfortably go out without worrying that one of the kids will have a fever the next day. That seems to be the trend. So weird! Anyway, so in the last 24-hours I've taken a Claritin (thinking maybe I have allergies but nope) and Mucinex and I feel like taking a Dayquil now. I'm afraid to take Nyquil b/c I don't want to wake up light headed and have to get my oldest ready for school.

Okay, done with my whine. Anyone can recommend a good cough remedy? I'm coughing up a lung or two and am now losing my voice again. I've tried tea with honey, honey alone, um, and what else? I forget. Oh, I made some chicken soup today and drank some of that. Maybe I need to drink one more bowl before I go to bed tonight.

Oh, and for the first time in 4 years I can take whatever I want to relieve symptoms! Breastfeeding both of my boys was great but I did miss being able to take things to help ease all the yuckiness that comes from a cold.
