Hellobee Boards

Our dog never has accidents but twice in the last month he's developed a bad case of the doggie squirts and we've woken up to a disaster! The first time it was all over our bedroom and I stepped in in barefoot and almost slipped and hit the floor. This morning I woke up to it again but luckily most of it was in our bathroom which is much easier to clean than carpet.

thankfully the only times we've had "accidents" are when the dogs were ill... i haven't figured out a "spot," but i have heard other stories about dogs choosing the nursery as their go-to accident spot! territorial?... anyway, i think we'll be leaving a gate up at the door of LO's room.

We've never had any doggie accidents (knock on wood)-- and they're both shelter dogs! We have a doggy door that goes from our kitchen into the backyard and they've always used that.

Every now and then we'll get an accident from one or both of our dogs. Really annoying. They are very well housetrained but sometimes the neurotic one will go.

I have a really funny story.

We have a friend staying with us while he's taking a class nearby, and he smokes and he's kinda big and tall. While the dogs are totally used to him by now, our chihuahua mix is very neurotic. One night Wagon Sr. took them out back to pee and poop, and our friend walked down the stairs of the 2nd story deck (they pee and poop in the space under the deck) and Remy (the chihuahua mix) FREAKED out. He ran back into the basement without pooping, got tangled up in a small stool, which then tipped over. All four paws left the ground and he was sideways, wedged into the legs of the stool, and he started pooping everywhere with his little paws flailing about. Wagon Sr. said the poop was spraying in all directions. Even though it's so disgusting, I could not stop laughing at the mental picture...

@autumnlove: ACK, I'm can't imagine having to deal with constant doggie accidents AND a newborn!! My worst nightmare!!!

I don't have dogs, I have cats. And they are both 9 months old now, still technically kittens, but they are old enough to know better. Well my little boy thinks its fun to poop right outside the litter box, and then he will go in the little box and "cover his poop" by kicking all of the litter out of the litter box on top of his poop.......My vacuum must hate me for all the litter I vacuum up. Now that I think about it....I wonder how much I'm wasting?!
