So I'm at 40W5D and I'm being induced (due to my past history) tonight with cervadil and then pitocin tomorrow morning. Doc says the baby should be born tomorrow! She's also SUPER low (she was able to feel her head at my appointment!)

She said my cervix is "very favorable" and very thin and very soft. I was dilated to ~2cm on Tuesday and since she swept my membranes, I've had somewhat consistent early labor (I guess, lol) going on in my back....every 8 minutes, lasting 30 seconds each....it's this wave of pain that sometimes radiates out front with cramping, then fades away. I haven't really noticed my uterus hardening with it, though. It died down last night but it's back this morning.

Does it sound promising? Ha I'm really not sure what to expect with Pitocin. I was hoping to labor to a 6 or 7cm and get an epidural, but I'm not sure how realistic that is now with pit.
