One of our nephews is turning three this weekend. They're not throwing a party, just having family meet up on Sunday for frozen yogurt. I wanted to bring a small gift, something between $20-35.
What's new and hip in the toddler boy world these days? I'm especially partial to books, if you guys happen to know any.

As the mom of a boy who is turning 3 in a few months, I feel like we have plenty of toys. Gift ideas that I wouldn't mind him receiving are books (we love Oliver Jeffers), art supplies, sticker books, simple board games or some sort of creative activity set.

My son is also turning three in a few months, and I tend to gravitate towards things that are travel friendly, so anything with magnets and a case is good, as Mrs. Jacks suggested.

Child binoculars. This gift went over well with my God kids. They are still at the exploring their world stage and loved seeing things up close.

that's when the superhero phase starts to appear if you want to get something fun! and you can definitely find something under that price range. right now charlie is super into transformers rescuebots.

I like the transformer rescue bots as well. My boys really like the playskool heroes toys as well. They have a marvel super hero line and a Star Wars line. The vehicles are sturdy and the characters are cute.

They are easy to find at Target and wal mart I think usually between 10-20 bucks
