I just booked our newborn photographer. I really want a picture of her sleeping on her stomach with a frilly tutu.
Did anyone else order a tutu from etsy and can recommend a seller?

@BabyBoecksMom: I would just make one. I am guessing I could figure it out. But we are closing and moving into a house the first part of Feb. So I can't even do baby prep till I am 35 weeks, so this is one time where I would rather just order one to save me stress. I want her to stay in till March!

Well, I cant remember the one I got one from but don't pay more than $20 for one. They cost like $5 in materials to make. Heck, I wouldn't pay more than $15 for one, personally.

@lawbee11: Those are precious but I don't want to spend $50 on a photo prop. Esp as @zippylef: said, the materials don't cost even half of that. Shame, those are exactly what I am looking for.

@Smurfette: I got the exact one that lawbee posted, and it was beautiful but in retrospect, it was a bitexpensive. I was out of control, but I love H in it in the photo, so I think it was worth it...

I am pretty sure the day after I got my BFP I pulled up that etsy shop and told DH that we were buying that tutu if we have a girl (so now I think he wants a boy because he can see our bank account dwindling already)! BTW, I love how in the thank you card picture you can see the "Talk to me about stretch marks!" tab

@zippylef: I ordered this tutu and got it today. OMG, it is fluffy, light pink and adorable. It only goes half way, which is what my photographer prefers so you can put on and off while baby is sleeping and won't irritate her tummy. I pulled it out of the box and even DH couldn't get over how cute it was. And I think he thought I was crazy before with wanting a tutu.

@shopaholic: I think the seller sells the crowns. Or a set of tutu and the crown. I didn't want to do a crown since another friend did one, even if they didn't do the tutu. I just need to find a little headband.

So, so cute! I found one on Etsy for $5, which is like nothing, but I'm trying to decide if I need to spend $5+shipping on something we'll use one time. I'm already having a hard time having a little girl! ha.

@photojane: I know what you mean. There are some that are like $40-$50 on etsy, which I couldn't spend just for a newborn shoot prop. $20 was much better, esp since it was exactly what I was looking for.
