We used a Graco stroller frame!

We used the same as Mr. Bee. Are you getting a stroller frame?

Otherwise, if your stroller has a special insert so that the baby won't be jostled around, then that sounds great, too. How exciting!!!!

@mediagirl: i would probably give the stroller a test run first and see how much she moves around in it, if at all. in the car seat + stroller frame, the baby is super secure. i just don't know how that compares with the stroller. but it sounds fine in theory with the insert!!

i am just picturing you taking a lovely stroll through your neighborhood - pushing a stroller. loving it!

I think the car seat is a bit heavy to carry for a long walk. I would either use a stroller or a carrier like ergo baby

@mediagirl: We used the Britax B-Ready stroller with our infant for short walks when she was a newborn. It lays pretty much flat and we used a head support. We stayed on paved roads so it wasn't bumpy and it was fine. It was too hot to have her in the car seat.

The ergo also works well for walks!

@mediagirl: i only took the LO out at around 8:30 in the morning and even then it was getting hot since this was during the summer.

We have the Phil & Ted's that doesn't have a bassinet but does lie flat so I plan on using that or the snap n go with our car seat. Won't spring/summer walks be so lovely!?

@mediagirl: Great timing, right? Today it is going to be 80 in Boston and it's so nice to think that I will be enjoying weather like this with my LO soon!
