My sister is going on 18 months of trying and about 6 months of RE treatment, and I really want to show her some support this week. If I send her flowers, is that like once of those “oh thanks for reminding me” type gestures or is it nice? Or any other ideas?

I'm not as far into this as she is, but I think if my sister sent me flowers as a thinking of you kind of thing I wouldn't be upset at all. But I'm also in the secondary infertility boat, so we have a lot in common and absolutely nothing in common at the same time as someone dealing with primary.
Long story short, I think it would be sweet.

I had a friend send me flowers after a devastating IVF failure. It was very welcome, and very touching. She wrote a simple message, "You are lovely. I wanted to remind you in case you forgot." The thing is, I had really forgotten. It brought me to tears and I felt so much support from her.

@mrsbubbletea: I personally always loved when people recognized my infertility. I never minded sharing and would have LOVED flowers. But I am open about things.

@Mrs. Starfish: thank you, I sent her your beautiful post. The part where you mentioned your eating journals and relaxation logs is so her. I am going to see her today, and I need to thank her for dog sitting anyways so i am going to get her some beautiful flowers and I think I’ll say something about the week in a card. Thank you!!!
