We have a bath seat for when she is old enough to sit up...it just seems easier for storage, since we have a small apartment.

We bathed DD in the kitchen sink until about 1yo, when she got active enough for me to think she could jump out. When she was a newborn we used a Puj tub. The transition to the big tub was a little tough but now she loves baths. It was nice not to have a big baby tub in our bathroom, which is small.

Oh, I see its out of stock online. It was available in our local store, I just bought it last week. I figured it was cheap enough to tide us over the few months until he is steady enough for the big tub

We used C's infant whale tub until she was old enough to sit up steady on her own and then we just plopped her in our regular tub. Didn't see the point in buying another seat or tub.

We skipped straight to the big tub. For a long time I would take baths with DD (and I still do actually). I felt more comfortable being in the tub with her, but now she does fine in the tub all by herself. Of course I'm always right there with a hand on her, but she does great!

We put LO straight into a full size tub when she outgrew her puj tub. We put a nonslip bath mat down so that she doesn't slip (like this one http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?SKU=11915450). We tried an inflatable tub first, but LO kept trying to crawl out of it. We don't put a ton of water in the tub, so I really don't feel like we're wasting water.

We use the FP whale tub with DD, i use a detachable shower head (i got form a beauty supply store for like $5) and attach it to the kitchen sink and she just splashes around in it.
