We went through this phase too, from about 9 months or so until 12/13 months. Nothing changed, he just all of a sudden liked it again! I just tried to keep bathtime short while he wasn't liking it, and distract him with things like bubbles, a bath crayon, etc.

Uh oh.... L is just a week (maybe 2) ahead of C so now I'm worried of what's to come!

We had this too, what really helped was leaving the tap running so DS could play with the running water. There's a lot more pouring and splashing of water, and sometimes we all get wet, but he enjoys bath time again.

I had the exact same thing happen to me at around that time! She used to LOOOOVE bath time and suddenly was scared of water! It was just a phase (lasted a few weeks) but those few weeks were brutal. I tried bubbles and toys and even sitting in the bathtub with her and nothing worked. The running water idea is a good one. We always have the faucet running and she loves playing with the water (cups,pouring, etc). Hope this phase passes for you soon!

@London Mama: Yes! DS still loves when the bathwater is running, at age 2! We didn't go through this at 9 mos but I second leaving it running. My DS went through a couple of bath-hating phases but it was earlier, by maybe 5-6 mos he consistently loved it.

We hit this phase also (maybe a little later than you, but not much) and it lasted a little less than a week. Went from screaming the entire time and trying to get out to loving it again.
