I used to have braces back in HS, but I was the bad kid that stopped wearing my retainers after a year. I'd love to get major dental work done and get invisalign in the future.
Any of you bees tried Invisalign or braces in adulthood?

I haven't, but I've heard it's pretty pricey. I also had 2 sets of braces and don't wear my retainer

My husband wants invisalign. I would never get it though because I know I wouldn't wear them. I'm bad about stuff like that.

I'll be doing invisalign in another year. My FIL is doing it now and likes it. I have a co-worker that is doing it and likes it, too.

I finished Invisalign in October. Unfortunately, I was one of the unlucky ones who had a tooth that wouldn't turn and had to get top braces for about 3 months. They come off tomorrow!! Woo!
I never had regular braces when I was young, so I had nothing to compare them to until I had to get the real braces for this past couple of months, but I can now officially say I wouldn't wish normal braces on anyone! They are horrible and how people live with them for years is beyond me. I would do Invisalign again in a heartbeat not to have these stupid things on.

i also had braces when i was younger and was bad about wearing the retainer. i did invisalign about 5 years ago, and wore them for about a year (top and bottom). it does create little nuisances because you need to remove them before eating/drinking anything besides plain water, but you get used to it and it was worth it for me (also i had a higher-paying job which enabled me to pay for them).

I did invisalign 4 years ago. I loved it! I didn't think it was overly expensive and it was great to only have the clear trays. My DH did it right before we got married. We both were people who didn't keep up with our retainers growing up but we have since the invisalign. I loovvve how my teeth look now.
