we are on a super tight budget for Christmas this year. my husband said he wanted to get me a new camera (I have a 3-year old Canon Elph). It takes good photos, but inside it's not so great - it might be an issue with camera settings? I truly don't know what I'm doing!

He wants to get me either the iPhone 4s (I don't want a bigger phone, so 5 is out for now) or a point and shoot. The iPhone 4s is only ~$150 after fees, so a point and shoot would have to be a similar price range.

Any recommendations or advice? I currently have an iphone 4 and am not super amazed by photo quality indoors.
