We're starting to look for a jogging stroller and this is the one DH wants. Is it worth the cost? Is there another (maybe less pricey?) one you'd recommend?

I bought our BOB off Craigslist and I looooooove it! It's pretty heavy so I leave it in the house instead of my "car stroller". I use it to take DD on walks every morning so it works out great. It's so smooth, easy to jog with and steer

I asked this on another parenting forum, and I heard that the joovy zoom, the baby jogger summit, and this graco one are all good as well.

I have a double BOB, so the options were more limited for me. Many of the other good competitors in singles aren't offered in doubles. There are a lot of good articles on runnersworld that show you the pros and cons of them all.
But I seriously love my BOB. The suspension on it is unreal, it's so smooth. I have the revolution, and even the double turns on a dime. Super easy to assemble and the wheels pop on and off easily if you want to. I've taken it over a lot of different terrain, and the tires have held up fine too, no flats.
2 things helped sell me on the steep price, (1) I can use it for a long time - weight limit is like 50 lbs per kid, (2) resale value is awesome - they are super popular so they sell for like 75% of new on CL around here.

@hilsy85: we have joovy zoom and I LOVE it. I love that I can lock the wheel for running or set it to swivel for walking / every day strolling !

I love the BOB! My #2 was the Joovy Zoom. I liked it a lot too, but the BOB was a little shorter and a little smoother. Both are great!

@coacheswife123: So glad you love yours because we got the Joovy Zoom but haven't used it yet. I still carry LO in the Baby Bjorn for walks. Excited for spring to use the stroller.

I've had a lot of different strollers, and I think the BOB is a great jogging and all-around, everyday stroller. It's worth it most especially if you are a runner!

I love our Bob! Unfortunately, right before my BFP so I haven't been running with it a lot. I can't wait to use it PP!

I can't say anything about other strollers, but I LOVE our BOB too! LO is only 5 months, so we haven't taken him running in it yet, but it has an amazingly smooth ride for him!
