I woke DH up after being up with the LO's at 7am so I could go back to sleep for 30 minutes. Then he got called into work 
I'm bummed! I think he has worked every Mother's Day since I became a mom (4 years ago)
Anyone else not doing anything that fun?

We're just going to Ikea to buy A a highchair so nothing special planned but today just feels special with it being my first!

Mr SH worked all night and will sleep all day before working all night. He bought me a present though

I'm still a mom to be, but DH is away at a bachelor party, so probably nursing a hangover today. So it's just me and the dog, doing some cleaning up around the house. The dog did let me sleep until 10 today, though, so can't complain about him, and DH sent me flowers yesterday.
My siblings are getting together with my parents but it's too far for me to go for just a day.

We aren't doing anything special either. My parents are a province away and the boys will probably go to their moms (dunno though because we still haven't heard from her!) and we'll stop by the IL's to drop off a little present to DH's mom.
I have my glucose test in a little over an hour, so nothing crazy today!

Dan is working too. I was supposed to go to lunch with my parents & siblings, but my mom is sick. So, me and Bug are just laying in bed doing nothing. It's actually kind of nice.

DH said that he was doing something for me (I'm a mama-to-be), but its 4:20 and he leaves for work at 4:30. And so far, he hasn't even acknowledged that its Mother's Day (we went to his mom's this afternoon).
So...probably nothing.

Nothing here. I wasn't really expecting much, just thinking we'd all hang out and do something but DH went to take a nap after church and has been asleep for nearly 7 hours now. He went to bed at 10 last night, slept til 7 this morning...

my hubby is in houston for a class. so i was with the LOs all by myself. we did go to church and i got a rose! and my hubby gave me a card and chocolate yesterday. and some awesome shoes last month. (i had a party to go to so we bought the shoes early)....

We were driving back from a wedding and ate leftovers.. which is fine by me! We agreed not to make a big deal over mothers/fathers day; but I'm glad we can spend time together!

DH tried to let me sleep in, cooked breakfast, and brought in the paper (which he does every Sunday so it's sweet but not MDay special); we cleaned house, had lunch, my parents came over, and supper was KFC with sparkletini (which he got me last weekend so also not MDay special). Only special thing we did was make chocolate chip oatmeal cookies!

We didn't do anything special, and honestly, I had a pretty crappy mothers' day between DD refusing her naps and our baby sitter not showing up this afternoon. I had a great Saturday though, so maybe I should just count that as my mothers' day...

We didn't do anything! It is the beginning of season for my husband, so he has games & practices every weekend. We did do breakfast yesterday with both sets of parents. And I got permission to get myself an awesome gift;) so I got earrings. But I picked them out myself;)

LO is sick so we just snuggled all day. It was nice but not in the way expected. My husband is not much of a planner so although he appreciates me, he didn't plan anything for today.

We went to my Mom's for dinner, he was suppose to work tonight but he laid off instead. I had planned on taking the girls home to their Mom, then going to costco with him, he found something better to do and I went by myself. This weekend he tilled my flower beds, brought a load of compost for me, and we spent the day on the river yesterday. It was nice but not really special plans.
