I've seen a few young people who look like they died their hair gray. That one girl that was on project runway allstars (she's only 22 I think), and Kelly Osborne. Is that in? I always thought we tried to stay away from turning gray!

I personally think it's a little odd, but it's whatever floats your boat! I did like the project runway girl had a little purple tint to it, but I'm a sucker for anything purple, so...

@abbydabbydoodlebug: I didn't notice the purple. I'll have to go back and look again.

I personally don't like it... Especially since I used to have a lot... Kinda disappeared during pregnancy.

@tequiero21: Wow, I've never heard of gray hairs going away. Awesome for you!

@artbee: yeah not sure what happened. I usually like to pick at it and pull them out, but they remain hidden.... Can't find any. Maybe they moved to the back to run away...

I think some people dye their hair gray.. not sure if it's "in" though. No white hairs just yet..! My parents don't have much gray/white either.

I think its odd, it'll go gray soon enough and then they will wish it wasn't! (spoken as one fighting the battle with the grays!)

@chopsuey119: My mom is 62 and still not gray. But she's a red head, I'm not, and I'm pretty sure it's the hair color that keeps her from going gray. I'm sad I didn't inherit that.

I don't think Kelly Osbourne looks good like that. I don't know the other girl. I feel like it mainly does not work. It works on people like Anderson Cooper though. He is not that young anyway -- I like that look!

I would NEVER purposefully make my hair look gray! I will just dye it when it goes gray. My dad had naturally red/auburn hair & he was never really gray, it went straight to white! lol And my mom has only a handful of grays & she is in her 50's! I hope my hair is like that

Seriously! I saw a young girl walking along the street the other day with a thick streak of white/gray hair! I already have some grays....and I didn't get a dye job!

I've had white hairs since I was in high school so I can't believe it is the style now. I would never color my hair white or gray. I have trouble keeping up with all of my white hairs.

I think it looks terrible on young people. I know a young mother who went completely grey after giving birth and has kept it- it makes her look 20 years older.

I don't understand the appeal, but I know that people do it. I had a hair modeling gig a few years back, and for that they added gray streaks to one of the other models. It was a darker gray (a bit lighter than gunmetal) and actually looked kind of cool on that particular girl, but I can imagine that the color would lighten fairly quickly and just look like gray streaks.
