It is for me! Woohoo! We get paid every other friday. My dh gets paid weekly which is nice too. I would prefer that.
We've been on a spending freeze so I can't spend any of it anyway.

It's not a pay week for me, I get paid every other Friday and next Friday will be pay day. My husband gets paid on the 1st and 15th so sometimes we get paid at similar times and sometimes it's staggered, just depends on the month.

@Mae: @fussygal: Me too! No one else gets paid once a month like I do! I love it, at first it was tough, but now I don't mind!
Except this month! My work shuts down before Christmas, so they pay us the 2nd last business day before shut down, and so that's typically 6w until the 2nd last business day of January, so that becomes a stretch!

This week is a non-pay week for both me and DH. We're both paid every other Friday on the same pay schedule.
DH used to be paid monthly which I actually did like a lot. They switched last year to the bi-weekly pay schedule and it just so happened to be the same schedule I was on!

@Beebug: I like it too. I chose it, actually. I think it makes it so much easier to budget! I get paid at the end of every month and use that money for the next month, so it is super easy to figure our budget. My husband gets paid every other week and its so annoying! Sometimes he gets paid the 1st/3rd week, sometimes the 2nd/4th. Sometimes he gets a 3rd paycheck in a month-- which seems exciting until we realize that means we won't be getting another one until almost half way through the next month so it isn't really that exciting. Boo.

I get paid only once a month now - on the last day of the month. I used to get paid twice a month so I am still in the process of adjusting to it.

@Mae: Agree! DH paid every other week too, and this month is a three mortgage payment month (three Thursday's and that comes out bi-weekly on Thursday's!) DHs comes opposing weeks of that on Friday's, would have been nice had they lined up for this one!

I've not been getting paid since I've been off but DH got paid today and we also received our annuity this week too! Lots of breathing room now. Phew.
