My lo is almost 9 months old and we are dealing with a horrible phase where we are having huge meltdowns, super clingy and cranky...Bedtime has also become struggle as she is screaming bloody murder and random MTTN wakings.

Feel any teeth popping through? That's exactly how LO got when he was teething around 10 months.
Are the MOTN wakings sound like he's crying out in pain?

Yes at 9 months my LO went through awful seperation anxiety, plus the 9 month sleep regression that happens. It will pass, I think by the end of the month both were better. The seperation anxiety and sleep go in cycles of being intense to a non issue through the first couple of years, at least that's what I heard! Good luck!

My LO is 9 mo today and I feel like she is getting a bit clingy to me sometimes and also is starting to have some separation anxiety. Like sometimes I'll set her down on the floor in her room and walk into the bathroom RIGHT NEXT DOOR to wash my hands and she starts screaming with real tears. Like seriously kid? It's been 5 seconds. She has also this week randomly started screaming when I set her down in her crib sometimes. Not all the time, but randomly and at least once per day. I definitely feel like it is a "don't leave me" sort of thing. I'm hoping it is a phase? I'm dealing by actually trying to leave her more but for short periods of time. Like I set her in a safe place and leave the room for a minute or two a LOT lately because I want her to get used to me leaving the room and coming back and it not being a big deal. And with the crib crying I've just been letting her be... I don't like it but I feel like with this sort of thing rushing to her every time she cries if she is crying about my leaving (for like honestly 1 minutes lol) is only going to make her cry more.

@2PeasinaPod: yeah we are kind of waiting for teeth to pop through and giving her meds. ..I am not sure this screaming is because of pain

@HTownMom: thanks..I think it is a combination of separation anxiety, regression and teething

@Mae: I am also trying to not to respond too quickly but we are having major meltdowns like don't want to wipe my face ...n not wanting to play independently...she was so good at being independent.
