I just tucked old blankets around my tomatoes in the garden, put on some slippers and turned on the heat for the first time this season.
Last week we were still hitting 30 (mmm...86 farenheit?) daily, and it's still sunny this week but it's getting coooold at night! Indian summer appears to be over, what a gorgeous autumn it's been

Yes, it is officially fall in Chicago!! Our high tomorrow is going to be 50 degrees, which I'm dreading... Because I'm coordinating an outdoor wedding ceremony, I will be sporting my not-so-formal Northface puffy coat, haha!

It's soooo weird here! It'll be warm and even hot up until about 5pm....then it'll chill and 7pm comes alone and the sun will go down an it's sooooo cold! I mean we had the car heat on and heavy sweaters....even though earlier in the day I had short sleeves on and was sipping a cold drink:/

Nope. We're going camping in two weeks and I'm hoping it's cool enough at night for a campfire, but I doubt it.

Today is warm, high is 73 I think, but for the most part, it's in the 50s-low 60s during the day & low 40s at night. I love it!

It's suppose to be 70 here today but at night it gets really chilly! This weekend I think we hit 25 - BRRR!!

We were in the mid 80's on Friday then hit low 50's this past weekend, but we're supposed to be up in the lower 80's again this week.
