I feel rude when I wear them inside so I always take them off!

Yes! I hate it when ppl wear shades indoors!

I only dislike it if it is really dark inside.

My husband wears prescription sunglasses, and he once had to wear them to a MOVIE THEATRE because he had lost his regular glasses.

Don't get mad, but kind of...I was taught never to wear a hat indoors or to converse with someone while wearing sunglasses. I break that rule when I'm outside in the glaring sunlight though.

I try not to judge people on this too much because you can't tell if they're prescription or not. I've definitely run into a gas station or store real quick and didn't want to take my entire purse so I would grab my wallet and go only to get in and realize I forgot to change my glasses. I feel rude but if I take them off, I can't see.

I also feel like I'm being rude when I'm at a drive thru (especially the bank) and don't take them off.

I don't think it's rude but whenever I see someone wearing sunglasses indoors I think they're weird..and maybe a little pretentious. I am more likely to notice you wearing your sunglasses than your lack of makeup!

I might run into the gas station with them still on, but always remove them before speaknig with someone, or stick them on top of my head when I get to the counter. I think it is rude not too.

I'm extremely sensitive to light, especially when I have a migraine, so I'm known to wear sunglasses inside. I don't care if people think it's rude .... sometimes I wish people would try to be a little less judgy because you really don't know everyone's situation.

I don't think it's rude, necessarily, but I do think if you're going to be speaking to someone, common courtesy dictates that you should be able to engage in eye contact.

@Mrs. Tricycle: I wear glasses and prescription sunglasses. If I go into a store for a short period of time, I will not swap the glasses out. I figure if someone has a problem with it, they can deal. I don't think badly about people who leave their sunglasses on in stores or the post office. What if you have sensitive eyes and it's bright even in the store and the glasses help you?

My opinion: wear 'em.

I think it's kind of rude just because you can't tell if the person is looking at you or not. Also, most banks I've been to don't want you to wear sunglasses inside - I guess they want to make sure all those cameras get a good look!

It drives me completely batty to have a conversation with someone who's wearing sunglasses. It wouldn't necessarily bother me to see you wearing them inside, but I wouldn't want to talk to you, haha.
