This is a gift that is not on a registry, but something I would like to send someone as a gift.
Unfortunately its not coming from Amazon so there aren't gift options available.
Is this weird or should I ship it to me and resend to her?

I think it's fine. You say it doesn't have gift options, so I'm guessing you are worried that it won't be wrapped and will have a receipt with the price on it? I'd still do it, assuming I'm close enough with them. It would be silly to ship it to you to ship it out to them, and wasteful of money and resources!

I've gotten lots of baby presents from Amazon that are unwrapped and just include a gift note. I haven't thought a thing about it.

Thanks. I was concerned bc it may include the price and no note. We are close so I don't really care about price (you can look up the price for everything these days anyways)

Maybe just give a heads up something is coming their way? An identical play mat was delivered to me just days after I ordered it myself.. I thought there was an error and they accidentally shipped two. It wasn't until I was packing it back up to send it back that I noticed a small little gift message in the corner of the packing slip.
