So, we live overseas but are moving back home to the states in a few short months, just a couple weeks after C's 2nd birthday. She was born here. We've only been home once since, so most of our family has only met her 1-2 times, when she was 8 months old.

Would it be weird to throw her a birthday party about a month after her real birthday, after we move home? I thought it would be nice to throw a shindig for our friends and family, so people could see us and people who haven't met her can. They didn't get to celebrate her first birthday with us since... you know, another country and all.
