A swing and a video monitor. We really didn't buy much that we haven't used. Our friend gave us her bumbo but, by the time she gave it to us, DD learned to sit on her own.

Video monitor! Lo is still in our room but I would still love to have a video monitor. Tried to convince dh to get one but he said there was no point.

When LO was littler I wish I'd had a bouncer or rock and play, I also could've done without the bumbo. He didn't love it and now that he's sitting on his own he has zero interest.

@Bao: I have the same answer as you! I so wosh we had a video monitor. I am dying to actually see how she sleeps now that she's in her crib all night (plus would be so helpful for nighf wakeups to see if she's really awake or what!). And we literally used our free bumbo once.

We really could have used a swing, and we probably could have done without the bouncer. I think it is generally true that your baby prefers one or the other, and we definitely chose wrong.

I got rid of my pump for some stupid reason when my LO was about 4 months old. My $400 pump that I was not about to replace (my second kid, and we are done), which has meant that I have been without one since. And that was a dumb move. But other than that, I felt pretty outfitted!

I want a video monitor as well.

Oh gosh, so many. We couldn't afford to get everything on the list before she was born, and now we have a three week old and I'm still trying to scrimp for more baby items.

- Double Electric Breast Pump (I have a little single manual one, but a double electric would make my life so much easier)
- Bjorn Babysitter Bouncer
- Diaper bag (I'm using a purse and it's not big enough nor does it have pockets)
- Ergo and/or Mei Tai carrier
- More clothes! Poor baby has such a sad tiny wardrobe.

I could have done without the R'n'P, as Vi will only sleep in our bed anyway.

I thought of another one! I wish I got a pram which the infant carseat could clip into. I feel bad having to wake lo up to put her in the pram.

@Dandelion: We have an infant seat. I read that convertible is better for some but then what so we do about a stroller?

@Arden: @runsyellowlites: I purchased the infantino mei tai carrier at BRU for less than $30 And it was super comfy and easy to use ! I used it until lo turned seven months old.

I could have lived without a bumbo and like half of LO's closet. She had way too many clothes. I would have likes to try the rock n play and I would have liked the snugabunny swing.

Oh and I could have lived without my Chicco Cortina stroller system. Lo only likes to be held so we've used it maybe a handful of times.

@Smurfette: good point...I think there's bassinet inserts you can get for the stroller...or maybe just use the infant seat for the stroller and not the whole car trip?

@Dandelion: I just hate to spend all that money if she doesn't like it still. Plus she seems so little for it. She just weighed 9.14 on Tuesday at her one month appointment.
