Working on my meal plan for the week. I noticed I always tend to plan tacos and a type of burger (quinoa, black bean, wild rice or beef!).
What are you go-to meals?

Yep, usually it is roasted chicken thighs marinated in 5 spice, soy sauce and sake, brown rice, and steamed kale. Always once a week.

Umm...McDonalds. -ducks head in shame-
We do grilled cheese and tomato soup pretty often, and also enchiladas.

Yes! spaghetti like @mrsaudi. We do frozen turkey meatballs with it. Meatballs + sauce in one pot, noodles in another, dinner in 20 mins!
We used to do shake n bake pork chops with applesauce and instant mashed potatoes once a week too. I have to start buying meat again now that my mom is gone (she was cooking for us every night while she was here).
We also do the $7.99 large 2 topping carryout deal from Domino's once a week (Monday thru Wed only). It feeds all 3 of us for dinner and we can pack a slice or two in WJ's lunch for the next day. Can't beat that price!

Kimchi jiggae (stew) every single Sunday for the past year and a half. Only exception is when we happen to not be home for dinner on a Sunday.

A frozen pizza is something we always have stocked for those busy nights!

@tororojo: I see nothing wrong with this. I mean their fries are the best.
Salads with grilled chicken. And the chicken is frozen, already cut up, so all I have to do is reheat it. Then usually a pasta, quesdillas, taco, are all another weekly meal in rotation.

Yes, our food menu is boring lol. We always have Subway one day, frozen pizza, some sort of pasta, either tacos or enchiladas, and a breakfast for dinner. The other two are up for grabs, we usually go out. It's sad, actually. I bought a crock pot today in hope of varying our routine!!!

We do some sort of pasta at least 1-2 nights a week. I want to cut back on our carbs tho.

I make some kind of a stir fry usually once a week. Either chicken or tofu these days, but sometimes beef.

Tacos, fajitas, and pasta. Those are probably our main three. Pasta can = spaghetti, chicken alfredo, etc.

@Smurfette: Why are their fries so expensive? I ordered a burger from the dollar menu and a large fry (which I couldn't find on the drive thru menu) and my total was $4 + change...

@tororojo: Seriously? That does seem really high. Were they nice and hot at least?

@Smurfette: They were fantastic! I guess that makes it worth it...maybe. Or maybe it's a lesson that I don't need to order a large. But I couldn't find it on the menu so I didn't know what the next size down was--medium? regular? you never can tell!

Salmon with fresh lemon and dill; wild rice pilaf and either zuchinnni or asparagus.

@tororojo: They do hide the single items on the menu now. DH is going to be gone all day on Sat. I think that I might have to go to McDonald's now

We have some sort of taco at least once a week. Our favorites are fish, shrimp and carne asada

Roasted pork tenderloin. I always buy a ton when it's on sale and when I can't figure out what to make for dinner, I just make a rub and roast it up. Always a hit with DD.

Yes! We have fish with sweet potatoes and creamy garlic pasta once a week. It's easy and yummy. I really need to add some new meals into our rotation!
