I am a bit overwhelmed by double strollers and strollers that can turn into doubles! Ahhhh!

I'm a bad researcher. Luckily I have a mom friend who love love loves to research and she's one child ahead of me so I always ask her what she has.

I'm overwhelmed by all of it!!!!
But it's strollers I'm finding hardest, too. How do I know if I need an off road suspension?? I ask myself - what will I be doing with said stroller? Walking in the woods with the dogs? Or coffee with friends? The answer - I don't know because, right now, the only place I go is work!!!! Sigh.

I got real tired of car seats by the time we ordered ours. now, I'm tired of thinking about baby carriers.
It's all very overwhelming, though!

Do apartments count? I think anyone on HB knows I'm obsessed with figuring out where to live so we have space for this LO!
@Cherrybee: I completely agree on the not knowing what you will use something for. For me, it's figuring out how much I will use the car (and therefore, does this mythical apt need to have private parking). Right now, I rarely drive-- maybe a couple of times a month, but with a baby, I will more, but how much more!
I can't even research most things until we figure out the living situation.

I'm a little past the research phase, but I think I researched it all to death - cribs, strollers, carriers, carseats, daycare...
And now that I'm a mom, I'm still reasearching - what feeding method, swaddle weaning, etc... it's never-ending!

I'm past the research stage too. I found looking on trusted friends registries and asking my brother and SIL what they bought and why helped the best.
I definitely research baby stuff like sleep regression, growth spurts, sleep, etc. now.

I researched convertible car seats for way too long.

We're pretty much done, but I hated researching car seats. We don't have a car nor do we intend to buy one anytime soon. I was so overwhelmed that I made DH do it. Even he got flustered and annoyed about having to find something that we won't use as much as other people. Granted, I know it's an important item though.

I hated strollers and seats, thankfully they both were gifts. I also hated trying to figure out cloth diapers but we aren't using them right now.
And now it's feeding (pretty sure he's about to start solids) and sleeping. Sleeping will drive you nuts.
