Before I ttc #2, I wanted to enjoy a nice bottle of wine to the point I knew I could go without it for a long time. Mission was accomplished, however I am missing wine already!

Before TTC for #3 (after number 2 is born in November) I want to take a year off from being pregnant lol. I want to get back into the shape I was in before I got PG with #1 and I want time to enjoy my favorite hobby (running) again.

I want to lose the last 5 pounds of baby weight that has been stubbornly hanging around, I want to sleep relatively well for a period of time and I want to take a vacation!

I want some time where I don't have to worry about everything I put into my body going to the baby. So I want some time off after we finish nursing. I finally understand why people say "I want my body back".
Getting in shape would be good too.

I want to be in awesome shape! I feel pretty comfortable with my body but there's always room for improvement. I also want to have a night away with the husband.

I want to lose all the weight from number 1! DH and I also want to finish paying off all our consumer debt - we are super close! And one more vacation. We should be ready for number 2 next May or June.

I want to lose more weight and find time to exercise regularly. I want my husband's work schedule to change. @grizz: we will be trying again next June as well!

I wanted to lose the baby weight, throw kickass 1st bday party, and go on a very fun vacation. Check, check and check.

I want to take LO to Disney World. That's it, but mentally I'm far from ready for #2!

Get back into pre-baby or as close to pre-baby shape as possible.
Get into our house (still waiting on being able to start renovating)
Get a good chunk of debt paid off
Save for our next delivery.

Lose the last few lbs from no.2
Sleep through the night (me)
Complete our transformation to mostly organic and gmo free diet
Spend a night away from the kiddos (might not hold out for this one though)

-Lose 25-30 lbs and tone up.
-Maybe buy a house, but definitely move. Our place now is barely big enough for us.
-Build up our savings more (Due to an insurance-related misunderstanding we had to pay for E's first month completely out of pocket, and that wiped out a good chunk.)
-Have E potty-trained so we can use the cloth diapers again.
-Maybe have E in school so I wouldn't have to stress about double day-care.
-And that's all assuming that DH comes around to the idea of a second.

Have a confidently walking child so I don't have to lug him around everywhere when I'm sick and tired.
Get back in a gym routine....I suck.

OMG! I can't believe you're already thinking about #3!
I want to:
- have a clean house
- go on a big International trip
- find a trustworthy babysitter
- get back into a good groove with DH

@Mrs. Confetti: A walker is a good idea! I had a stubborn walker and a newborn...it was hard!

Change careers, lose weight, and not think about breastfeeding for a long time.

I want to feel a little more in control with LO #1. Or at least learn how to deal with feeling out of control

I want to bounce back and continue eating healthy meals. I also want to take a family vacation.

I want to devote a little energy to my career, perhaps get a promotion. My company deserves it, too - I was distracted while we bought the house, had a month off (holiday entitlement) for our wedding, "worked from home" for many weeks and was super distracted while my dad was sick, had a month off berevement leave after my dad died and I miscarried the following day, was distracted while TTC and then spent 9 months pregnant which is quite distracting really!!!!! All in the space of 17 months! Im now having 6 months off maternity leave! Employee of the year, anyone?!

Um... get out of the military, move home, one or both of us secure employment back home, get C into preschool, reno our house.
It's gonna be a few years and 2 is our MAX. One of us *coughDHcough* is getting fixed after that.

We're not planning for another, but I would definitely want a REAL vacation before ever getting knocked up again!

Have dh find a job. .. check! He just started last week

I want to get my master's degree, finish most of my dissertation, and be prepared for my oral exams. Basically, I want to be finishing up my last year of grad school.

Wait until LO (due next week!) is at least 1 to get used to being a mama of 1 and to give my body a little time to recover. We need to also think about moving house as I don't think our current place has enough rooms to accommodate 2 LO's plus DH & I!

-sell our condo & move out to the burbs
-lose more weight. Still about 4 lbs from pre-pregnancy weight, but want an additional 20 lbs off of that
-earn a certification which will net me a lot more $$ when I change jobs
-leave my company and get a new job. Really don't like my new coworker. It's catalyst enough for me to want to get the hell out of there
nectarine / 2932 posts
I'm trying for #1 right now, but before trying we had a couple things we wanted to do. Get a kid friendly car, get invisalign for me, take accutane (for me), travel, and save a little.
We've done everything but travel, unfortunately. We just don't have the money for it

We're planning to start trying this fall (eek...I'm not ready for another baby!) and the one thing I wanted to do was put my almost 22 month old in a drop off program so she could start getting used to being away from me regularly.
Other things to get done before baby #2 arrives is move LO into a big girl room and potty training.

Uh, want to have sex again? Hahaha JK
Lose the rest of this baby weight and get to a point that I am happy and confident with my body. Also, it would be awesome to be able to sleep through the night, have a nap once in a while, and have N out of diapers.
