I got a very faint positive on an internet cheapie test at 12 dpo (as in almost not visible until the test dried) and then took a FRER test later in the morning (not with FMU) which also showed a very very faint line. However, I've been cramping on and off since the night before my positive test (which did not happen with my first pregnancy and feels like menstrual cramps). I took another internet cheapie test and FRER this morning at 13 dpo and the lines look to be exactly the same as yesterday rather than looking any darker. It could be in my head but I feel like my chest is less sore than it was 5 days ago but I am still experiencing bouts of nausea off and on. My tentative plan is to go to the doctor for bloodwork on 17 dpo (Monday) if no bleeding has started before then. Am I foolish to be all doom and gloom at this point? During my first pregnancy I wasn't charting but I think I had a pretty dark line at around 13 dpo.

Are you confident of your O day? Could you be off and not actually on the exact dpo that your thinking?

I had light cramping for the first month almost daily. It was my one symptom and the reason I even tested so cramping alone isn't a bad sign.

I am confident of my ovulation day. I used the ClearBlue fertility monitor and charted (temp made the appropriate jump on the next day). The tests are at home and I'm at work so I can't take a pic but it's very very very faint.

I would wait a few days and not test every day. You're still pretty early and my tests didn't really get significantly darker until several days later.

Something similar happened with my first chemical pregnancy (lines that were faint and never got darker over the course of several days). However, since it's only been 1 day since you first tested, I'd wait until 14 or 15 dpo to test again. I know it's hard to wait, and you want to know so badly what is going on, but it's hard to make conclusions within just a 24-hr period. Hang in there!

Cramping post ovulation is a huge sign of pregnancy for me. I only cramp when AF arrives. So cramping after ovulation is a great sign!!! I couldn't wait and just tested 9dpo and it's neg but I know I'm pregnant so I'll prob get my positive in 4 or 5 days just like last time.
Just wait it out a few more days and test again
I know waiting is the hardest though !!!! I'm right there with you though

I cramped a lot around 6-7 days after ovulation and then it stopped for several days. I'll just try to wait it out and test again at 15-16 dpo.

I listened to others and did not test this morning and the cramps are mostly gone now. Also, I've attached a photo of the two FRER tests. The bottom one is the 13 dpo test and the top one is the 12 dpo test.

@Shantuck: I actually see a progression in the lines. It's really too early to tell if its a chemical at this point unless you start bleeding heavily.

@Shantuck: My FRER were sooo light with my BFP I took a digi and it said pregnant even with the light FRERS
I too had cramps on and off!

I had really light lines (like yours) and cramps 10-13 DPO. I got negatives on wondrous and clearblue digitals. My lines didn't get dark until 14dpo, and not equal until 15 or 16 dpo. My hcg was only 18 at 13dpo, but then 80 two days later and 304 three days after that. So far I'm 7w3d and saw the heartbeat two days ago. So, definitely don't give up hope yet!

@Shantuck: those are positives! I didn't even get a positive test a 14dpo last time & it was very light like yours are but it's still a positive test! My hubby hardly even believed because they weren't dark enough! But a positive is a positive. Congrats !!!!!

I would wait before calling anything. I've always had very faint +s at 14dpo and my lines darken slowly. Let the betas speak for themselves since dye tests are strictly qualitative (pregnant or no) tests.

Cramping without bleeding is common in early pregnancy (I had cramping without and with bleeding within same healthy pregnancy). I wouldn't assume the worst!!

To second what @runnerd said, just cramping is very, very, very normal in early pregnancy. It was actually how I knew I was pregnant this time, because I stopped getting pms cramps after my first m/c (which was a nice silver lining).

This morning I had a darker line on the first response and a positive digital as well! Thanks all for the support. No more peeing on sticks and comparing lines for me!
