Just woke up and on a whim took an HCG test.
We've been trying since Sept 2014. AF is 3 days late!!!

This is a dollar store test. Could this be wrong? I have an FRER test I'll use around lunch, I ran out of pee.

Where do I start? I'm thinking about buying some an pair of infant Team Canada mitten to surprise DH.
Should I tell him next week or on Valentine's Day/Family Day?
I don't know how long to wait.
How soon should I wait before telling family? Should I tell DH, then doctor, then family?!
I should probably call my fertility doctor (we haven't started anything but preliminary tests). AHHH SO MUCH TO DO

@stiletto_mom: Yay! I guess it depends on who all your comfortable sharing with if things don't work out. I told my husband as soon as he got home from work, I can't imagine waiting but that is just me! I told family after our 8 week appointment.

@stiletto_mom: I'd just tell DH today! Definitely call your doctor - since you've been trying so long, they may offer you some early tests (blood work, etc) to confirm. We didn't tell family until after we saw a heartbeat on the ultrasound (only because we'd been burned by an earlier loss where we had told them, then lost it). Definitely up to you, it's hard to wait!

I wouldn't be able to, or want to, keep it from my husband beyond waiting until I could tell him in person. His baby too! We didn't tell family until after our first doctor appts both times, but we also aren't local so we didn't see them in person anyway.

@stiletto_mom: Exciting! I had thought about waiting until Christmas to tell my DH, but I'm glad I ended up telling him before hand so he could soak it all in. After I told him, I called the Dr and set up an appointment. We didn't tell any family until after that appointment.

congratulations!!!! i found out in the morning before DH left for work but took the day to figure out a cute way to tell him and so he found out after dinner that same night. i wouldn't wait longer than the end of the day to tell him!!

I think I'll tell DH as soon as I can. I want to go and get a gift to surprise him with the news. =D
The things we STOPPED doing this cycle that we concieved.
1. We reduced our use of Pre-Seed by 50%. We played more, used more of our body's natural lubrication. Cuddled more, returned to "fun" sessions.
2. I stopped working out entirely. Before I started NTNP, I was doing HIIT training 3 times a week. In December, I was desperate to try anything to see if it was lifestyle related. I completely stopped. - short of stretching and walking.
