I already have this dress and it's perfect for nursing/toddler chasing/hot outdoor event....just not sure if it's too white for a wedding.
Thanks!

I think it's too white. But if it's an outdoor, afternoon wedding, I think you have a little more leeway- most weddings I've been to are evening and then it's definitely too white.
That said I'm also at the point of whatever works, so if you can't find something else you like (or the time to shop for it)... Whatever.

I'll be honest.... If someone wore that to my wedding I wouldn't be pleased.

I go with "if I have to ask if it is too white, it is too white". You're not polling the bride. All that matters is her opinion. If you think it may be too white, I'd guess she would too.

Too white in my opinion, but it's a gorgeous dress and I'd love to know where you bought it!

If it had a coloured cardigan, I think it would change the look of the dress - but you'd have to test and see!

I'm usually pretty lax about this but I wouldn't wear that due to the whiteness.

@mediagirl: this exactly. If you have to ask, better go with something else!

@Greenowl: It's gorgeous! Where from? I agree with wearing a colored cardigan.

Thanks ladies! I'll look for something
I'm in Canada, so I got it from the Bay, but it's Ralph Lauren denim and supply.

I don't think it is too white personally (like if it were my wedding) but @mediagirl: is right. You don't know how the bride will feel and if there's any chance it's too white - then it's just too white.

I honestly can't remember what ppl wore to my wedding. I wouldn't have thought anything of that dress. I say as long as it doesn't look anything like a wedding dress you are safe.

I would never care what someone wore to my wedding unless they wore a legit wedding dress. I think I chimed in too late, but I think the floral print makes it fine!

I usually say no to the "is it this dress too white" question, but I personally would not wear this one to a wedding.

It's not so much that the dress has too much white in it it's the fact the dress looks really nice. You don't want to be the guest looking great in a "white" dress.

I think the pattern in it makes it okay to wear. Wearing plain white to a wedding is much worse in my opinion

I would have no problem if someone wore that to my wedding. Especially if it was an afternoon, outdoor event.

For an afternoon wedding I think it is perfect. I didn't even really pay attention to what others wore at my wedding.
I think as long as you are not wearing a white bridal dress you are fine.

I think it's cute and wouldn't have even thought about thinking it's inappropriate. It has a more casual than formal look, which makes it less offensive.
I also don't know if it's a Canadian thing, but i feel like the rules around a white dress are a little more lax here!

Cute dress. Unless you're actually wearing a wedding dress, as a bride, I think you have way too much stuff going on to stress about a wedding guests dress

Looks fine to me...not like anyone is going to think it's a wedding dress and confuse you with the bride! it's very pretty.
