Last Friday, my husband and I ate romaine salad with dinner at home. On Tuesday, he got sick. It came on suddenly and was feverish with awful painful cramps. He never threw up or had diarrhea. It lasted about 12 hours. Fast forward to today. I felt nauseated at 6 am while prepping bottles. I vomited at noon. It came out of nowhere with only about a second of notice. I’ve had a 100* fever tonight. Tonight we saw that romaine from Salinas, CA, has been recalled for E. coli. Ours is from Salinas. Could that be what we have? Is it safe for me to keep pumping?
