my youngest climbs EVERYTHING! she's been attempting the gates but doesn't quite understand the need to go "up" versus over, so thankfully she's still trapped. she is not above using things as step stools, is very coordinated, and can easily go up and over plastic bins I was using to block her into a room (or block the dog out).
my oldest never really climbed so this is totally new territory. I'm hoping she's not as accident prone as my oldest!!

Nope, she's not a risk taker. She never climbed out of her crib, she doesn't climb furniture. We'll see what #2 does!

Yup! He's 2.5 and is climbing on everything at home! I keep an arms length and let him do his thing. If he learns to safely navigate it - great! If not, I'm there to catch him if he's falling or if the fall is short, I let him so he knows the consequences of doing that even though I warned him!

Yes! He often gets himself so high on something he can't figure a way back down! And he's fallen many times... It's scary and exhausting!

Yes, they both are. Earlier this week Blake managed to climb out of his crib with his sleep sack on.

Ha ha, yes! And she is insanely flexible, there is nowhere that kid can't get her legs. I'll expect the same from DS, but if he is less adventurous I won't be disappointed

Sigh. Yes. R is a climber and has no sense about him. He pushes stools and bins to climb on things he shouldn't. And falls. T was learned pretty quickly what he could and couldn't do and R just doesn't get it!

Only sometimes. He's not a big risk taker, but sometimes he gets in a mood and will try to climb things! He's sorta in between a yes and no! lol

*sigh* yes....they started climbing before they could walk. They climb up counters, scale bookshelves and are very creative in making step stools for.themselves. Basically, if it's not on top of the fridge at this point, it's fair game.

She's definitely a climber but she is also pretty cautious, which surprises me. But yeah she loves to climb. She just figured out that she can climb between the bed in her room and the crib and goes back and forth when she refuses to nap.
