DD1 is 3.5 and their vocabulary at this age is wonderful and surprising. But man, is she long winded when she's telling me a story or describing something. Sometimes I just have to tell her to get to the point! LOL

Hahah yes! It's so funny though. And he'll start telling one story, and just all of a sudden switch to a different story without missing a beat. It's hysterical.

Yes! We went to a party Saturday night where she was the only person under 25 and she spent the evening mingling and telling people stories. It was kind of fun to watch and to not be on the other end of the story for a change, haha.

M does not stop until we completely understand her story. Sometimes I just nod and smile to get her to stop.

If by long winded you mean never stops talking, then yes! That's my son. He has been long winded since 9 months.
