Her baby book is bound but her journal is not.

Bound. I have a friend who has one of each, she likes the loose leaf one because you can easily omit pages you don't want, like she took out the baby shower page because she didn't have one for her second. She also said that the pages don't puff out as much when adding different things like hospital bracelet, cards, etc.
