Mine is for the most part, but I keep forgetting to add the height/weight each time we go to the doctor.

No! I make notes in my iPhone and I will update her book later!

@autumnlove: I've been doing that, too, for most of her milestones and things she does each month.

The baby book needs to be updated, but we have been old about updating the line a day daily journal for her.

@LemonLong: A line a day? Wow, that would be a lot to keep up with!

@BabyBoecksMom: What does your baby book look like? I want to get one for our LO due in February (the nurses keep telling us to bring one so they can stamp it with their footprints) but I have no idea what to get!

@smocks: We got this one in "Meadowlark"
I actually wasn't thrilled with the cover of the book, but I liked the layout of the pages.
There was another book that I one of the bloggers blogged about AFTER I got this one and I liked that even better. I'll have to see if I can find the link to that one.

Nope. But that's on purpose-- we chose not to do a baby book because I knew for sure that we wouldn't stay on top of it, and if we did, we definitely wouldn't do it for baby #2. And our mantra has been "if we know we're not going to do it for #2, we're not going to do it for #1."
I write posts on our blog every once in a while so that I have that to look back on, but those are just as much about keeping distant family up to date with pictures and what he's up to as it is about doing it for memory-keeping. I've kept a few things that I'll eventually put in a nice box (his hospital hats and bracelets, prayer cards from his baptism, etc.)-- but as for a book, nope.

Mine is! LO is 16 months so I don't have to write in it very often anymore. Just when we go to the doctor and for birthdays.
