Not only is my bed unmade but so is my guest bed since I spent from 3 to 5 in it this morning. Is your bed made or unmade?

unmade! I'm actually considering going & napping with P in a bit b/c she woke up earlier than usual & DH is off so I feel justified. lol!

HA. Absurd question in our household. My husband and baby are always still snuggling in bed when I leave for work. Chances of him making the bed before he leaves are ZERO percent. I usually make the bed when I get home from work so that it's made when I get in at night.

Unmade... I never make it - seems like a waste of time to me
We only make it if company is coming!

We actually slept in the guest bed, so there's no excuse why our bed isn't made up.

I am so picky about every other area of my house, but our bed is never made!

We get up at the same time so we make the bed together. I'm pretty sure DH wouldn't make it if I wasn't there.

Wow - I only make the bed after I wash the sheets. I do not have time for that!

Same as @swurlygurl - we only make it when we wash the sheets and sometimes not even then if we put the new sheets on right before be get into bed!

I voted made but only half. The shams and pillows aren't on it. But I pulled the sheets and duvet up, so it looks a little more presentable, even though no one but me will see it.

@MamaMoose: Hah! I have the same problem . . . if I want the bed made, I would have to make it around DH. Not that that would wake him up!

It looks made. I do the lazy version. I yank the quilt and sheet at the same time and whip them together so they float flat over the bed. Throw the shams up top and done. It takes five seconds.
There is no tucking, lining up sheets, smoothing out or anything. However it floats down is how it stays. lol. If you look quickly it looks made.

@swurlygurl: Ditto! And the only reason why it's even made then is because in order to get the duvet over the comforter is by "fluffing" the entire thing. Doing so, it naturally makes the bed. haha!

I make the bed on weekdays only because we keep our dogs in our bedroom when we're away and too much dog hair on the bed breaks my skin out. On the weekends I never make the bed unless we are going out somewhere. I used to have nice bedding too, but the dogs ate it, haha!!

Made! I make my bed everyday. I just love getting into a made bed at night.

I make our bed every day since I'm the one still sleeping when DH gets up for work. But we both like getting into a made bed at night.

This is why I have a 'no sheet rule' on our bed. We only use a fitted sheet and a comforter so it's easier to make the bed. Drives my Mom crazy, but it works for us!

@Modern Daisy: We were that way for two and a half years until I finally convinced DH to try a sheet. He actually likes having a sheet and comforter now! Go figure. I always had one growing up.

Made. This is why I dig duvets! You just spread them out, put the pillows at the head, and you're done. Until your preschooler decides to nap in your bed, of course!

I always make the bed. ALWAYS. But I don't tuck sheets, so it doesn't take anything more than bringing the sheets and comforter up to the top.

No....I make it after I clean, which I haven't yet started today. Today is slooooooow.

Yes, it's one of the first things I have to do in the morning - I can't stand an unmade bed!

We only make the bed when we have guests who might see it. LOL. Even if I wanted to do it, I can't on work days because DH is still in it when I leave.

@scg00387: same! Unless it's clean sheets fresh from the dryer or a holiday it's not made!

Made!! I much prefer climbing into a made bed at night, though that isn't always the case. I find if I keep up on it every day it only takes a minute. If I let it go, it takes forever.
